New Dining Experience Onboard Windstar Cruises

Windstar Cruises, which operates a 3-ship fleet of luxury yachts, will launch a new dining experience onboard its 148-guest Wind Star and Wind Spirit. In the evenings, the ships will offer guests al fresco dining with ocean views, picturesque sunsets and star-filled skies at Candles, the poolside grill concept introduced in 2008 onboard sister ship Wind Surf.


Serving fine steaks and skewers, Candles accomodates 30 guests per night and is subject to weather conditions. Guests begin their meal with insalata caprese, followed by a main course selection of tender rib eye, New York steaks, fresh swordfish skewers or assorted vegetable skewers grilled on deck and served with a choice of sauces. At the end of the evening, guests savour delicious tiramisu made of savoiardi dipped in coffee and mascarpone cream.


A leader in luxury small ship cruising, Windstar Cruises recently enhanced its product offering to guests with upgrades to guest areas, staterooms and spas on its fleet of motorised yachts. Part of the multi-million dollar Degrees of Difference enhancements, guests can now enjoy luxury bedding, wireless internet, Bose speakers with iPod connectivity, flat screen televisions and L’Occitane amenities.


Carrying just 148 to 312 guests, the luxurious ships of Windstar cruise to nearly 50 destinations, calling at 100 ports throughout Europe, the Caribbean and the Americas.
