Firefly To Add Fifth Singapore – Kuala Lumpur Flight

Malaysia’s Firefly is expanding its flying program on the popular singapore-Kuala Lumpur route with the introduction of a fifth daily flight from 28 March 2010. The airline currently flies 4 times daily between Singapore Changi International Airport Budget Terminal and Kuala Lumpur’s Skypark Subang city airport.


Flight FY 3511 departs Skypark Subang at 1300 hrs, arriving at Singapore Changi Airport at 1410 hrs. The return flight, FY 3510, takes off from Singapore at 1640 hrs and lands back in Kuala Lumpur at 1750 hrs. Firefly will operate the flight with its ATR72-500 aircraft configured with 72 seats.


Firefly is 1 of 7 airlines with daily flights on the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur route, but is the only operator flying from Skypark Subang, which is nearer to the Malaysian capital’s city center than Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang. In addition to Singapore, the airline’s regional network includes Alor Setar, Bandar Aceh, Batam, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Koh Samui, Kota Bahru, Kerteh, Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan, Langkawi, Medan, Pekanbaru, Penang and Phuket.
