All-Suite Encore At Wynn Macau Opens

Las Vegas gaming entrepreneur Steve Wynn has unveiled the Encore at Wynn Macau, a new, all-suite hotel adjacent to Wynn Resorts’ flagship property in the Special Administrative Region. The opening was to have been accompanied by a series of celebratory activities, but these were cancelled as a mark of respect for the victims of the earthquake in Qinghai province, China. However, a 10-minute, 13-set fireworks display designed by Phil Grucci, who has also worked on displays at Times Square and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will take place tonight at 2008 hrs.

The accomodation options include 414 elegant suites and villas with sweeping views of the city or the Nam Van Lake from floor-to-ceiling windows. Ranging from the 102-square meter Deluxe Suites and the 186-square meter Grand Salon Suites to 4 exclusive villas, the hotel offers guests a spacious, residential feel during their stay with separate living and sleeping areas. Each suite is luxuriously furnished with amenities including a King-sized or twin Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top beds dressed in fine Egyptian cotton linens, expansive bathrooms with separate bathtub and shower accompanied by Desert Bambu bath amenities, LCD television, high-speed internet access, cordless telephone, in-room safe, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities.

Encore at Wynn Macau introduces 2 new restaurants to the resort. Cafe Encore features Cantonese, Portuguese and Macanese cuisine under the direction of Chef Chan Yok Kong in a classic European cafe setting, while 99 Noodles specializes in Chinese regional hand-pulled and cut noodle dishes prepared by Chef de Cuisine Guo Jun and his team. At the lobby, the jewel box-inspired Bar Cristal has guests enjoying premium cocktails and vintage champagnes under a stunning 19th-century antique chandelier. Guests will also enjoy full access to the Wynn Macau’s repertoire of restaurants and lounges, including the Michelin-starred Wing Lei fine dining restaurant.

In addition to the array of entertainment options at its sister resort, the Encore at Wynn Macau adds another casino hall and VIP slots space, while shoppers will find 3 signature stores from Cartier, Chanel and Piaget showcasing their finest selections, including pieces unique to the Encore. Amidst the vibrancy of Macau’s gaming, the Spa at Encore offers a serene sanctuary where guests can indulge in wellness therapies in the private treatment suites featuring their own steam room, sauna and hydrotherapy bath and shower.
