Hilton Opens Third Hotel In Sicily

Hilton Worldwide has opened its third hotel on the Italian island of Sicily. Situated on the eastern coast between the cities of Messina and Catania, the new Hilton Giardini Naxos was formerly known as the Russott Hotel and enjoys a prime beachfront location overlooking the Ionian Sea. The property has been completely refurbished and is expected to bring significant growth to the local area.

The 296-room resort offers guests a selection of guestrooms and suites, decorated in traditional Italian style and featuring a private balcony from which guests can enjoy views of the sea. Each accomodation is furnished with either a King-sized, Queen-sized or twin beds, spacious bathrooms with Crabtree and Evelyn amenities, LCD television with cable programming, high-speed internet access, telephones with voicemail and speaker capability, workstation, power and connectivity ports, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities. The resort also offers extra spacious, 40-square meter rooms with an additional sofa bed that can comfortably accomodate families and larger groups.

Dining at the resort is provided by 4 unique food & beverage outlets showcasing local and international favorites. The all-day dining Panarea restaurant seats up to 400 guests with an open-air pool terrace offering panoramic sea views, while the specialty restaurant Sciara features a show kitchen where guests can view the culinary team at work while they enjoy Italian and international wines from the wine bar. Afternoons are best spent relaxing at the resort’s Lobby Bar and Beach Bar while sipping cocktails and sampling the artisanal Sicilian pastries.

Headlining the recreational facilities at the Hilton Giardini Naxos is the resort’s private beach where guests can lounge under the Sicilian sun. Alternatively, there is a solarium and swimming pool available, after which guests can head to the Klafs spa for wellness treatments or workout at the fitness room. Meeting groups will be able to combine their events with a retreat at the resort, which offers a variety of configurable venues and spaces to accomodate groups of up to 1,600 guests. Each event space is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and supported by a full-service business center.

The Hilton Giardini Naxos joins the Excelsior Hilton Palermo and Hilton Villa Igiea Palermo on Sicily and is the brand’s eighth property in Italy. For more information, visit www.hilton.com.
