Millennium & Copthorne International Launches New Loyalty Programme

Hospitality operator Millennium & Copthorne International has launched a new loyalty programme, the Millennium & Copthorne Loyalty Club. Replacing the group’s preceding Frequent Guest Rewards, the new programme is features expanded benefits that will be applicable across all of Millennium & Copthorne’s properties around the world by the 3rd quarter of 2010.

 

Membership is divided into 3 tiers (Classic, Gold and Diamond) depending on the number of qualifying stays earned. Guests will also earn 2 loyalty points for every USD 1 spent at any participating property, which can be used to redeem a range of rewards including spa treatments, dining vouchers and complimentary stays.

 

M&C Loyalty Club – Classic

The basic tier in the programme, guests are enrolled for a qualification period of 12 months from their date of enrolment. During this time, guests will be required to earn at least 1 qualifying stay, whereby the membership period will be automatically renewed for another 12 months. Unlike other hospitality loyalty programmes, M&C Loyalty Club will not issue a membership card and will instead utilize a membership ID for Classic tier members.

 

M&C Loyalty Club – Gold

Valid for 2 years from the date of qualification, guests who earn 4 or more qualifying stays during their membership year are accorded Gold status and receive a personalized membership card, in addition to premium privileges. These include fast track registration at selected hotels, early check-in from 1000 hrs and late check-out until 1600 hrs, complimentary welcome drink, local daily newspaper, broadband internet benefits, 2 complimentary room upgrades and 20 percent discount on weekend stays for their birthday.

 

M&C Loyalty Club – Diamond

The top tier of the programme is reserved for Millennium & Copthorne’s most loyal guests, who will enjoy all the benefits of Gold members as well as 4 complimentary room upgrades and a 20 percent discount on the total dining bill incurred at participating hotels. To qualify for Diamond status, which is valid for 2 years from the qualification date, guests will need to earn 12 or more qualifying stays during the membership year.

 

Currently, all of Millenium & Copthorne’s hotels in Asia participate in the programme, which will be progressively launched in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Oceania to cover the group’s properties under its Grand Millennium, Millennium, Copthorne, Kingsgate and Studio M brands.
