Cebu Pacific Adds Beijing To Network

Philippine-based Cebu Pacific has announced it is to launch flights between Manila and Beijing on 6 September 2010. The southeast Asian country’s largest low cost carrier will operate 3 services a week, using its 150-seat Airbus A319 jet for the 4.5-hour flight.

 

Flight 5J 672 will depart Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 1935 hrs on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport at 0005 hrs the next day. The return flight, 5J 673, takes off from Beijing at 0100 hrs to land back in Manila at 0530 hrs in the morning.

 

Beijing becomes the 16th international destination to be served by Cebu Pacific, as well as being the airline’s third destination in mainland China, after Shanghai and Guangzhou. The carrier joins rivals Air China, China Southern Airlines and Philippine Airlines on the route.
