Wataniya Airways Inaugurates New Departure Lounge

Premium Economy passengers flying Kuwaiti premium service airline Wataniya Airways can look forward to a new lounge experience on the ground before their flight. The airline has opened a new facility at its exclusive Sheikh Saad Terminal to cater for increased passenger numbers as a result of its rapidly expanding network and held a ceremony attended by senior government officials and its management.


The stylish, new lounge adds a quiet space where passengers can relax in comfort, a restaurant, business, kids and smoking areas. Throughout the facility, passengers enjoy complimentary wireless internet access in addition to the amenities and services available in the terminal, including valet parking, porter service, concierge service, leisure shopping and quiet prayer rooms.


The only commercial airline granted permission to use the Sheikh Saad Terminal, Wataniya Airways is increasing frequencies on its current network of 12 international destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including Alexandria, Amman, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Dubai, Istanbul, Jeddah, Rome, Sharm el Sheikh and Vienna. The airline operates a modern fleet of 2-class Airbus A320 jets configured with 26 First Class and 96 Premium Economy class seats.
