Emirates Lounge Opens In Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Travellers flying First and Business Class between Shanghai and Dubai on Emirates now have a new facility to relax before boarding their flight. The airline has opened its latest dedicated lounge in Pudong International Airport’s Terminal 2 with a ribbon cutting ceremony by executives from the airline and airport-operator Shanghai International Airport.

Located next to Gate 75, the 860-square meter facility will offer the same product and service standards that Emirates Lounges around the world have been known for. Premium passengers will find luxurious amenities for relaxation, dining, entertainment and business at the lounge, which can accomodate up to 165 passengers in comfort. Cream leather couches provide ample seating, while designer shower rooms are available for passengers to freshen up prior to boarding.

The only lounge in the airport to offer an extensive menu of hot and cold dishes, as well as a full bar service, passengers can enjoy a light meal while catching up on the latest news and entertainment on the 52-inch plasma televisions, or work on their computers with the complimentary high-speed internet access at the Business Centre.

The Emirates Lounge in Shanghai will cater to passengers on Emirates’ 2 nonstop, daily flights to Dubai, flight EK 305 departing at 0715 hrs and flight EK 303 departing at 2330 hrs. Within Asia, Emirates Lounges can be found in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai and Singapore.
