Jetstar To Launch Singapore – Guilin Flights

Singapore-based low cost carrier Jetstar Asia is set to enhance its network in China with the introduction of flights between the lion city and Guilin, one of China’s most picturesque and popular leisure travel cities. Tthe new service will provide a direct link between both cities, eliminating a need to transit through cities such as Bangkok, Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur and reduce current travel times by half.

 

Beginning 3 November 2010, flight 3K 827 will depart Singapore at 1000 hrs every Wednesday and Saturday, arriving in Guilin at 1355 hrs. The return flight, 3K 828, takes off from Liangjiang International Airport at 1435 hrs and lands back at Singapore Changi International Airport at 1830 hrs in the evening. Jetstar Asia will operate the flights with its 11th Airbus A320 aircraft.

 

Guilin is the airline’s third route in mainland China and its sixth in the Greater China region. Jetstar currently flies daily services to Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei, in addition to 4 times weekly flights to Haikou and 3 times weekly services to Shantou.
