Easyhotel Ventures Out Of Europe

European budget hotel chain Easyhotel has ventured out of the continent with the opening of its new hotel in Dubai earlier this week. The 216-room Easyhotel Jebel Ali is located within the emirate’s Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) and is easily accessible from the rest of Dubai via Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Metro, while neighbouring Abu Dhabi is a 1 hour away by road.

The guestrooms within the 6-storey, LEED Gold certified building ranges from 15.6 square meters to 19.5 square meters. In keeping to its ‘no frills’ approach, each accommodation is furnished with a comfortable bed, private shower room, air-conditioning, coat hanger, luggage storage area, mirror and shelf-unit with power socket and lighting.

Guests can also add chargeable extras such as use of the flatscreen television, wi-fi internet access and housekeeping services to their stay. The hotel does not offer a restaurant on-property, but has vending machines retailing hot and cold drinks and snacks for guests. Other facilities available include secure entry, internet terminals, luggage storage lockers and a secure carpark for up to 50 vehicles.

Easyhotel Jebel Ali joins 9 other sister properties across Europe in Basel, Berlin, Budapest, Edinburgh, Larnaka, London, Sofia and Zurich. For more information, visit www.easyhotel.com.
