Refurbished SeaDream I Returns To Sea

Award-winning luxury cruise line SeaDream Yacht Club has unveiled its refurbished SeaDream I mega-yacht. The 112-guest vessel emerged yesterday from a 20-day drydock in Hamburg, where she received an array of guest experience upgrades to accommodations and public spaces, as well as shipwide engineering work.

Refreshed Staterooms and Suites, Public Spaces

Each of the staterooms and suites, already renowned in the industry as private villas at sea, have been refreshed with new wallpapers and revarnished woodwork. Together with the accommodations, the Dining Salon, spa, Piano Bar, Casino, reception, corridors and staircases received new carpeting.

Guests will also find new cushions for the chairs at the outdoor dining area and new upholstery for the Balinese beds on deck 6 and seats around the Top of the Yacht bar. SeaDream I’s recreation offerings receive a boost with an upgraded golf simulator and a new jacuzzi installed onboard.

Engineering Upgrades

SeaDream Yacht Club has also taken the opportunity to repair and upgrade the vessel. Air conditioning units, steel pipework and galley equipment were replaced, together with a pressure wash and repainting of the hull in its signature navy blue colour.

SeaDream I is currently on an 11-night voyage from Hamburg to Bergen. She will spend her summer sailing in the Baltic Sea, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean, visiting ports in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain and Sweden.
