Marrakech Gets A Four Seasons Hotel

Luxury hotel operator Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has opened the new 139-room Four Seasons Marrakech, its newest property in North Africa. Set amidst a 40-acre walled oasis, the resort is designed in the elegant Moorish style with arcades and fountain courtyards dotted with mature olive and palm trees.

Offering views of the lush resort grounds, historic Menara Gardens and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains from private balconies, the guestrooms and suites exude tranquility and are inspired by the nearby Moroccan medina. Guests can expect signature Four Seasons amenities, including luxury King-sized or twin beds, marble bathrooms with separate deep soaking tub and walk-in rainforest shower accompanied by premium amenities, 42-inch LCD television with iPod docking station, high-speed internet access, multi-line telephones with voicemail function, in-room safe and minibar, providing a high level of convenience and comfort.

Four Seasons Marrakech offers guests a selection of stylish dining choices, alluding to the city’s reputation for culinary richness. In a casual setting overlooking the swimming pool, the Azzera Grill is perfect for casual lunches or informal dinners of grilled meat and fish specialties, while Solano – Brasserie du Sud presents Andalusian, Italian and Moroccan flavours in a relaxed, open environment. Bleu d’Orange serves Provencale cuisine with a light and modern tone, after which guests can adjourn to Zest, the resort’s rooftop lounge. Alternatively, the Inara Bar & Lounge offers intimate indoor and outdoor settings to enjoy light meals, afternoon tea and cocktails throughout the day.

Over 2,115 square meters of versatile indoor and outdoor event space, including a spectacular ballroom that steps out to a secluded garden courtyard, is available to meeting planners and incentive travellers. The Neroli Spa Pavilion featuring 2 luxurious spa suites and a contemporary hamman awaits after a day of meetings or sightseeing, while guests preferring to stay indoors can utilize the 2 beautifully-landscaped outdoor swimming pools with private, full-service cabanas, fully-equipped fitness center and tennis courts. The resort is also able to arrange a round of golf at one of the many championship courses in the area.

Four Seasons Marrakech further extends the brand’s presence in the Middle East and North Africa, where it currently operates hotels and resorts in Alexandria, Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Doha, Mauritius, Riyadh, the Seychelles and Sharm el Sheikh. The resort joins a growing list of luxury accommodations in the Moroccan city, with recent openings including the restored La Mamounia, and Royal Mansour.
