Flydubai Commences Services To Ahmedabad

UAE low cost carrier Flydubai has inaugurated flights between its base in Dubai and Ahmedabad, its third Indian destination after Hyderabad and Lucknow. The new route marks the airline’s entry into Gujarat and western India, with strong demand expected from business travellers.

 

Flight FZ 437 departs Dubai at 2210 hrs on Saturdays, arriving in Ahmedabad at 0250 hrs the next morning. The return flight, FZ 438, takes off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 0335 hrs to land back at Dubai International Airport at 0505 hrs. The airline will operate a 189-seat Boeing 737-800 jet on the route.

 

Since its creation in , Flydubai has rapidly expanded its flying network to 39 destinations across Africa, Central and South Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The carrier is set to grow further with services to Belgrade, Donetsk, Kazan, Kharkiv, Kiev and Ufa to be launched by the end of 2011.
