Flydubai Launches New Ukrainian Flights

Low cost carrier Flydubai has bolstered its network with the launch of flights between Dubai and the Ukraine with its 189-seat Boeing 737-800 jets. The airline began services to Kiev, Kharkiv and Donetsk last weekend, as part of its commitment to develop routes underserved by direct air links to the UAE.


Dubai – Kiev

Flight FZ 727 departs Dubai at 0900 hrs on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Kiev at 1315 hrs. The aircraft turns around to operate the return flight, FZ 728, taking off from Boryspil International Airport at 1415 hrs and landing back in Dubai at 2010 hrs.


Dubai – Kharkiv

Flight FZ 725 takes off from Dubai at 0910 hrs every Tuesday and Friday, arriving in Kharkiv at 1310 hrs. The return flight, FZ 726, departs the Ukrainian city at 1325 hrs to land back at Dubai International Airport at 1955 hrs.


Dubai – Donetsk

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, flight FZ 721 departs Dubai at 0900 hrs, landing in Donetsk at 1225 hrs. Returning as flight FZ 722, the aircraft takes off from Donetsk International Airport at 1325 hrs and arriving back in Dubai at 1835 hrs.


Flydubai is targeting business travellers, as well as UAE football fans looking to travel to the Ukraine for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2012 tournament, for flight demand. The 3 new routes bring the number of destinations served by the airline to 44 across Africa, Europe, the Indian subcontinent and Middle East.
