Singapore’s Orchard Hotel Unveils Refurbished Wing

Orchard Hotel Singapore has unveiled its new Claymore Wing, following a USD7.7 million refurbishment that saw all 331 guest rooms and suites remodeled. Aimed at helping the hotel capture Singapore’s projected 13 million visitors this year, the project revitalizes its offering with contemporary styling and the latest in-room technology for guests.


The new Deluxe Rooms, Executive Club Rooms and Executive Suites now feature new timber flooring and warm colour schemes of grey and white, brown or beige and red. Each is furnished with King-sized or twin beds accompanied by an extensive pillow menu, bathroom with walk-in shower and sunken bathtub, a 40-inch LED television, iPhone- and iPod-compatible adaptive radio, high-speed internet access, connectivity port, voicemail telephone, a workstation with ergonomic chair, in-room safe, minibar and coffee-maker. Executive Club guests will also enjoy additional amenities including personal aromatic therapy with a selection of essential oils, amenity kits for businessmen, couples, infants and ladies, in-room office equipment, stationery and blood pressure devices on-request.


Located on the 17th floor, the Executive Club Lounge is tastefully furnished with a mix of benches, banquettes and dining tables where guests can relax and socialize over the complimentary breakfast buffets, canapes and happy-hour cocktails. 3 private meeting rooms with natural daylight and a business center support guests who need to take care of business, while a TV Lounge offers a wide selection of media programming.
