All Nippon Airways’ 787 Services Launched With Hong Kong Inaugural

All Nippon Airways has begun operations of its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner with the inaugural flight from Tokyo (Narita) to Hong Kong, marking another milestone in the advanced composite aircraft’s development. Following launch festivities including a traditional Kagami-wari ceremony, the airline’s president and Chief Executive Officer Shinichiro Ito joined members of the media and paying passengers onboard the special-liveried jet, which took off shortly after noon.
