Now Open: Jumeirah At Etihad Towers

Dubai-based hospitality operator Jumeirah has become the latest brand to debut in the neighbouring emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the opening of the new Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. Located in the Ras al Akhdar area, the hotel is easily accessible to the central business district, ministry compounds and international airport, with stunning views of the Corniche and Arabian Gulf.

A focus on comfort, quality craftsmenship and an ability to support and enrich the urban lifestyles of modern professionals characterizes the hotel. Occupying one of five glass towers in the iconic complex development, highly-prized Italian marble, custom-designed hand-tufted carpets and photographic artworks depicting life in Abu Dhabi during the 1960s (from the private collection of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan) adorn the interiors.

The 382 guestrooms and suites offer stylish comfort and luxury for guests with contemporary decor, beautiful art and top quality finishes. Ranging from the 40-square meter Tower Room to the 980-square meter Royal Etihad Suite on the 60th floor, each accommodation features luxury bedding, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and bathtub, 42-inch LED television, iPod docking station, high-speed internet access, large workdesk, in-room safe and coffee-/tea-making facilities. The property also includes 199 exquisitely-designed serviced residences ranging from intimate studios to expansive 3-bedroom apartments.

12 restaurants, lounges and bars await guests and residents at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. The hotel’s signature dining outlets (Quest, Li Beirut and Scott’s) present delectable fine cuisine in a gorgeously chic setting, while the casual dining options include Rosewater, Nahaam, Brasserie Angelique, Tori No Su, Bodhi, Lobby Lounge and the Observation Deck serving Abu Dhabi’s highest high tea. As the sun sets, Ray’s Bar and the Lobby Bar come alive to offer expertly crafted cocktails, premium drinks and fine cigars to discerning guests and partygoers.

Business travellers and meeting planners have some of Abu Dhabi’s largest meeting facilities at their disposal. The Conference Centre can accommodate up to 1,400 guests within the 1,897-square meter Mezzoon Ballroom, 13 meeting rooms, VIP suites, Bridal Suite and Events Showroom, with business support provided by the full-service Business Centre. For recreation, the brand’s signature Talise Spa, featuring 13 treatment suites (including a Rasoul Suite and a Hammam Suite), offers an invigorating experience for the mind, body and soul. Landscaped pools and gardens complement the private beach and the Health Club’s state-of-the-art gymnasium facilities. Over 30 premium boutique shopping outlets at the Etihad Towers’ podium await guests seeking the perfect souvenir or designer piece.

Founded in 1997, Jumeirah’s portfolio now comprises award-winning hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Frankfurt, London, Maldives, New York and Shanghai. The group is currently developing an additional 18 properties in Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
