World’s Second Armani Hotel Opens

Armani Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality joint venture between fashion designer Giorgio Armani and Dubai’s Emaar Properties PJSC, has opened the world’s second Armani Hotel. International celebrities including Jessica Alba, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Lauren Remington Platt and Olivia Palermo joined Giorgio Armani at the star-studded ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Armani Hotel Milano, located in the heart of the city within the extraordinary 1937, rationalist-styled palazzo at Via Manzoni 31 originally designed by Enrico A. Griffini and shaped by the architectural ground plan as an immense “A”.

Guests arrive to a world of harmony and privacy fostered in pure Armani style at the hotel. Ranging from the 45-square meter Armani Deluxe rooms to the 200-square meter Armani Presidential suites, each of the 95 accommodations have been planned to satisfy the needs of work, relaxation and pleasure. A small vestibule creates an intervening space before revealing the intimacy of the bedroom, serving as a prelude to the luxurious Armani/Casa furnishings including King-sized bedding, spacious limestone bathroom and elegant linear sofas covered in sophisticated fabrics, while state-of-the-art technology provide convenience for the modern traveller.

The hotel’s public spaces are concentrated on the seventh and eighth floors under a glass canopy that affords spectacular views of the historic Duomo and modern skyscrapers. Guests and locals will find traditional Italian favorites with an exclusive cellared beverage list at the Armani/Ristorante, while the Armani/Lounge with the Armani/Bamboo lounge on the opposite side (and connected by an internal bridgeway) offers a relaxed ambience to enjoy an informal meal, afternoon tea or aperitifs before dinner. 8 years on, the exclusive Armani/Prive nightclub located on the premises remains one of Milan’s hottest nightspots.

Business travellers will appreciate the style and functionality of the Armani/Business Centre, which extends over 200 square meters with a private conference room and 2 boardrooms equipped with modern audio-visual and conferencing equipment. Following a day of meetings, guests can truly relax and indulge in the Armani/SPA on the eighth floor, offering 6 dedicated treatment rooms, a couples suite, fitness gym and swimming pool with temperature control system for maximum comfort.

Armani Hotel Milano joins the hugely successful Armani Hotel Dubai, located within the world’s tallest building, the 163-storey Burj Khalifa. The group’s portfolio is set to further grow with 2 new properties planned in Marassi and Marrakech.
