Now Open: Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened the first Aloft-branded hotel in Thailand. The new Aloft Bangkok -Sukhumvit 11 brings the brand’s stylish urban design, tech-savvy features and social atmosphere to the epicenter of Bangkok thriving Sukhumvit entertainment district, with easy access to the Nana BTS skytrain station.


The 296 guestrooms and suites feature loft-like decor with high ceilings and extra-large windows allowing plenty of natural light. Guests will enjoy the comfort of the signature Aloft platform bed topped with plush bedding, as well as the rejuvenating walk-in shower accompanied by bath amenities from Bliss Spa. A 42-inch flatscreen television, connectivity station, high-speed internet access and workstation keeps business and leisure guests connected, while the minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities are available for convenience.


Dining at the Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11 is provided for by Crave, the hotel’s international all-day dining restaurant, where guests are presented with a bounty of dishes on iPad menus. Making their debut in Bangkok is the brand’s 24/7 re:fuel by Aloft self-service gourmet pantry offering a range of deli items and the w xyz bar with its ambient lighting, fireplace, colourful stripes and wall panels that flip from day to night to create a sophisticated social atmosphere.


Business travellers and meeting planners will find 265 square meters of versatile event space equipped with the latest audio-visual technology available, while leisure guests can enjoy a swim in the Splash outdoor pool, workout at the re:charge gymnasium, or simply relax at the re:mix communal lounge.


Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11 joins 53 other sister hotels around the world. The fast-growing brand will add a second Thai property, the Aloft Phuket Patong, in 2014 and expand its Southeast Asian presence to Malaysia with the Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, currently under development and slated to open in 2013.
