Tune Hotels Readies To Enter Thailand

Malaysian budget hotel brand Tune Hotels is preparing to make its foray into Thailand tomorrow with the opening of a new property in the southern city of Hat Yai. Located in the heart of town within the main shopping and entertainment district, the 148-room Tune Hotel Hat Yai is a short 5-minute walk from the railway station and in close proximity to local attractions.

The brand’s simple and functional guestrooms are furnished with its signature staples of a comfortable Tune Bed, ensuite bathroom with power shower, ceiling fan, in-room safe and power outlet. Guests have the option of adding on amenities including air-conditioning, satellite television, high-speed internet access, towels and toiletries at an additional charge.

The lack of an onsite restaurant is mitigated by the plethora of food available at the nearby Kimyong Market. As with her sister properties, Tune Hotel Hat Yai offers 24-hour security and onsite parking for guests.

Tune Hotels’ portfolio now comprises 14 hotels in Malaysia, Indonesia, the UK and Thailand. The brand’s rollout plan in the Southeast Asian kingdom calls for new properties to be opened in Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket in 2012.
