Silver Cloud

Beginning her season exploring South America, Silver Cloud transits the Panama Canal to San Juan, where she will offer a series of Caribbean roundtrips. Spending May 2013 in the Mediterranean, the 296-passenger ship heads north for a summer season that includes calls in the British Isles, Iceland, the North Cape and remote Russian ports in the White Sea. In Fall 2013, the vessel returns to the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic Ocean back to South America where highlights include a 17-day Amazon itinerary and cruising the magnificent Chilean fjords.

Silver Shadow

The waters of Australia and New Zealand host Silver Shadow at the start of 2013, with the ship moving north in February 2013 to Southeast Asia. A series of itineraries focused on Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam will be offered before she journeys to China and Japan for spring. The ship will then spend summer in Alaska operating mostly 7-day cruises between Seward and Vancouver, crossing the northern Pacific Ocean again in October to cruise Chinese and Vietnamese waters, culminating in a journey back to Australia to celebrate the holidays with a 15-day cruise between Sydney and Auckland.

Silver Spirit

Silver Spirit starts her year in the Caribbean, positioning to Los Angeles via the Panama Canal in February 2013 for a 31-day grand voyage exploring the Pacific Ocean, during which the ship will call at French Polynesia, major Hawaiian islands and Kiribati. She spends summer in the eastern Mediterranean operating 7- and 9-day sailings, including a trio of cruises affording opportunities to visit some pristine Black Sea ports. Closing the year in the Caribbean, Silver Spirit will sail roundtrip voyages from Fort Lauderdale culminating in a 14-day holiday cruise.

Silver Whisper

2013 promises to be an epic year for the Silver Whisper as she embarks on her 115-day world cruise on 5 January 2013 from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale. Crossing the equator 4 times, the itinerary follows the tropical belt to 52 destinations in 28 countries with overnight stays in several key ports. Highlights include explorations of the idyllic isles of French Polynesia, Australia and New Zealand’s remote west coast, fascinating Asian metropolises and Africa’s rarely seen western coast.

From mid-May to August 2013, Silver Whisper sails in northern Europe offering primarily 7-day Baltic Cruises with extended stays in St. Petersburg, following which a transatlantic crossing from Southampton to Montreal positions her to operate a collection of fall foliage cruises to Canada and New England. She next heads south for the Caribbean in November 2013, ending the year where she started, in Los Angeles, after a 16-day holiday cruise through the Panama Canal.

Silver Wind

Africa kickstarts 2013 for Silver Wind, with a trio of 10-day roundtrip sailings from Cape Town followed by a 18-day cruise along the continent’s exotic west coast and 2 voyages in the Canary Islands. She then repositions to the Mediterranean for an extended summer programme filled with 7- and 9-day cruises. Highlights for passengers onboard include a 3-day extended visit in Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix during the 23 May 2013 Barcelona to Rome cruise, as well as calls in Egypt and the Holy Land. Silver Wind then retraces her route back to Cape Town to conclude the year.

Silver Explorer

Formerly known as the Prince Albert II, the luxury expedition ship Silver Explorer starts the year exploring the unspoilt landscapes of Antarctica, the Falkland Islands and South Georgia. Spring and Summer 2013 will see the ship visiting Africa’s west coast, western Europe, the British Isles and the frozen arctic landscapes of Svalbard as well as a first-ever expedition voyage to Canada’s Hudson Bay. Silver Explorer heads south in September 2013 to explore the Caribbean and Central America, closing the year again with Antarctic expeditions from Ushuaia in November 2013.
