Korean Air Confirms New Seoul (Incheon) – London (Gatwick) Flights

Korean Air has confirmed that it will launch a 3 times weekly service between Seoul (Incheon) and London (Gatwick), complementing its existing daily flights serving London (Heathrow). The airline will operate a 3-class Boeing 777-200ER jet configured with 8 First, 28 Prestige Business and 225 Economy Class seats.

Beginning 28 April 2012, flight KE 909 departs Seoul at 1840 hrs to arrive in London at 2250 hrs. The aircraft overnights at Gatwick Airport before operating the return flight, KE 910, in the morning at 1030 hrs, landing back at Incheon International Airport at 0525 hrs the next day.

The South Korean flag carrier becomes the latest airline to use the facility over the slot-restricted London (Heathrow) as a means to expand frequencies to the British capital. A premier international route for Korean Air, travellers can also look forward to flying its reconfigured Boeing 747-400s from London (Heathrow) this summer.
