Anantara Opens Vietnamese Resort

Thai hospitality and spa operator Anantara has made its debut in Vietnam with the opening of its first resort in the county. Offering a glimpse of the refined coastal life the locals have enjoyed for centuries, the new Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa celebrates Vietnamese architectural style and welcomes guests to its enviable central shoreline position and Mui Ne’s renowned desert-like sand dunes.

89 guestrooms, suites and villas ranging from 42 square meters to an expansive 178 square meters offer different lagoon, pool and beach views. Modern luxuries, including King-sized bedding, bathrooms with large stone tub and separate rainforest shower, 32-inch flatscreen televisions with iPod docking station, high-speed internet access, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities, ensure a comfortable stay. Guests staying in the pool villas enjoy the added convenience of a private lounge and swimming pool with panoramas of the landscaped gardens, lagoon or the South China Sea.

Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa’s 5 restaurants and lounges present delectable local and international flavours. Chef Alain Nguyen helms the main L’Anmien Restaurant serving exquisite Vietnamese dishes with a modern twist, while guests can look forward to premium steaks and succulent seafood grilled to perfection at Thung. The homey interior of the Cham Lounge makes it a comfortable venue for settling in with cocktails and tapas, before adjourning to The Wine Room to sample some of the finest vintages paired with specialty cheese and charcuteries. Flow, the poolside bar, rounds up the offering with an array of refreshing beverages and gourmet snacks.

Banqueting and event facilities include 5 conference rooms accommodating small- to medium-sized groups for private gatherings or business meetings. Leisure guests will appreciate the serenity of the Anantara Spa, where the signature Synchronised Massage and replenishing treatments are available to relax and rejuvenate. Guests can also indulge in yoga and Vietnamese cooking classes, together with a range of watersports activities, while the Library provides a quiet sanctuary for reading or catching up.

Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa expands the brand’s global reach to cover 5 countries outside its native Thailand. First launched in 2001, Anantara is a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands.
