Tune Hotels Opens New Property In The Philippines

Malaysian budget hotel group Tune Hotels has expanded its presence in the Philippines with the opening of a third property. The 167-room Tune Hotels Ermita Manila was opened by the city’s Mayor Alfredo Lim and brings the brand to the capital of the Philippines. Situated in the center of the Malate district, famous for its nightlife attractions, the 10-storey hotel remains easily accessible to the international airport and Makati business district.

Following the successful business model in-place at sister properties, the hotel’s guestrooms offer comfortable bedding, ensuite bathroom with shower, ceiling fan, in-room safe and power outlets included within the room rate. Air conditioning, television, in-room wi-fi, towels and toiletries will be available as chargeable add-ons for guests.

Dining options include an onsite restaurant, while a 24-hour convenience store retails food items and other amenities. Beyond the hotel, Roxas Boulevard is a 15-minute walk from Tune Hotels Ermita Manila and offers a row of al fresco restaurants with views of Manila Bay. Other amenities include a private parking garage, round-the-clock security and transportation services.

Tune Hotels predicts strong potential from the Philippines travel market for its low-cost model. The group plans to further grow on the archipelago, with hotels planned and under development in Manila’s Makati, Ortigas and Quezon City districts as well as the country’s second largest island Mindanao set to join its existing 3 hotels.
