Tune Hotels Opens 11th Malaysian Property

After expanding regionally with new openings in the Philippines and Thailand, Malaysia’s Tune Hotels has opened its 11th domestic property in Ipoh. Located in the heart of the town on Jalan Horley, the 121-room Tune Hotels Ipoh is within walking distance to major attractions and becomes the brand’s first hotel to incorporate a new identity that will be progressively implemented across the portfolio.

Aesthetically, the property features red, white and dark grey colour tones that reflect Tune Hotels’ new fun, funky and sleek design DNA while retaining signature basics of clean rooms, convenience and security. The guestrooms offer comfortable bedding, ensuite bathroom with power shower, ceiling fan and power ports, with air-conditioning, television programming, high-speed internet access, towels and toiletries available as chargeable add-ons. New to the brand are inter-connecting guestrooms targeted at guests travelling with family and young children.

While the hotel does not boast any food & beverage outlets in-house, an array of local dining establishments are within a 3-kilometer radius, providing convenient and affordable local flavours to guests. Other amenities include 24-hour security, parking and commercial retail outlets with a travel and service centre of affiliated company AirAsia.

Tune Hotels continues to expand globally with 30 new properties scheduled to join the portfolio within the next 12 months. In the UK, the brand is gearing up to open the Tune Hotels Paddington and Tune Hotels Kings Cross, in time for the 2012 Summer Olympics hosted by the British capital.
