Mandarin Oriental Assumes Management Of Atlanta Luxury Hotel

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has assumed management of Atlanta’s luxury boutique hotel, The Mansion on Peachtree, rebranding it as the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. Situated in the heart of the city’s prestigious Buckhead neighbourhood, the 127-room hotel is housed within an iconic, 42-storey mixed use building designed by celebrated American architect Robert A. M. Stern.

The guestrooms and suites offer a sense of space coupled with excellent views over Atlanta’s tree-lined streets. Each is furnished with soothing, elegant interiors that create a warm and restful atmosphere, complemented by plush bedding, white marble bathroom, in-room safe, minibar and state-of-the-art technology including a 37-inch LCD television with Bose Wave music system discreetly concealed behind artwork and high-speed internet access. Guests looking for a permanent address in Atlanta have 25 private residences to choose from, combining oriental charm with Southern hospitality.

Casual sophistication sums up the atmosphere and cuisine of The Cafe & Bar, where Executive Chef Colin Quirk’s menu showcases a fresh approach to traditional favorites using high-quality organic produce. Overlooking the manicured garden, Taipan is a lovely venue to relax and socialize, offering afternoon tea and cocktails in the evenings.

Business travellers and meeting planners have a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from when seeking a venue for events. 6 light-filled meeting rooms accommodate up to 200 guests, while the English garden is perfect for parties and showcases. Recreation and wellness options include a spa offering holistic treatments and therapies, a 18.3-meter climate-controlled indoor lap pool, vitality pool, fitness center, sauna and yoga studio.

With the addition of the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta, the group now boasts a portfolio of 44 hotels representing 11,000 rooms operating or under development in 28 countries.
