Best Western Opens First Hotel In Kuala Lumpur

Best Western International has opened its first hotel in Kuala Lumpur, adding the Best Western Premier brand to the country with a new 364-room property. Located within the city’s integrated transportation hub KL Sentral, the new Best Western Premier Dua Sentral benefits from the KLIA Ekspres rail link to the international airport and is a short commute from major business, entertainment and shopping districts.

Contemporary-style guestrooms and suites range from 34 to 183 square meters, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the surrounding panoramas. Each is furnished with hardwood flooring, comfortable bedding, spacious bathroom and shower, flatscreen television with DVD player, iPod docking station, complimentary high-speed internet access, workdesk, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities.

3 restaurants offer an array of dining experiences. Kembali Kitchen presents traditional Malaysian cuisine and international dishes, while Grill 582 serves up flame-grilled steaks and succulent seafood. The fusion restaurant Hugo’s on 6 combines Mediterranean and Oriental flavours, complemented by cocktails at the Punch Bar and Lounge.

8 meeting and function rooms cater to business travellers and meeting groups, supported by a full-service business center. Leisure guests can enjoy rejuvenating treatments at the brand’s signature Bhuvana Spa and infinity-edge swimming pool.

Best Western Premier Dua Sentral is set to be joined by 2 other properties under the upscale brand, Best Western Premier The Haven in Ipoh and Malacca’s Best Western Premier MITC. Best Western International is boosting its portfolio in Malaysia, with 7 new hotels under development and scheduled to open within the next 3 years.
