Tune Hotels Launches In Jakarta, Eyes Indonesian Growth

Tune Hotels has boosted its presence in Indonesia, opening its newest property in the country’s capital Jakarta. The Malysian budget hotel operator and franchisee Red Planet Hotels took the opportunity to announce an ambitious expansion plan which will see more hotels added in gateway cities.

 

Tune Hotel Pasar Baru Jakarta

Located in central Jakarta, the new Tune Hotel Pasar Baru Jakarta is approximately 45 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and in close proximity to the city’s attractions and business addresses. The 168-room hotel offers modern, low cost accommodation with comfortable bedding and ensuite shower, with amenities including air-conditioning, television and high-speed internet access available as chargeable add-ons.

 

Dining options are plentiful with markets and malls nearby, with vending machines retailing food and drinks within the premises. The hotel also provides 24-hour security and complimentary parking to in-house guests, while transportation services can be arranged.

 

7 More Tune Hotels by 2013

Buoyed by the growing Indonesian economy, the brand is targeting to open another 7 hotels in gateway cities. A 143-room property in Pekanbaru is slated to launch in December 2012 and hotels in Bekasi, Makassar, Palembang, Surabaya, Surakata and Tangerang are under development.

 

Tune Hotels’ current Indonesian presence includes 2 hotels in the popular resort island of Bali. Beyond the country, the brand has been expanding to other Southeast Asian markets such as the Philippines and Thailand, whilst also making forays in the UK where it operates 4 hotels.
