Thai Smile Air Reveals Upcoming International Plans

New regional carrier Thai Smile Air, which commenced flight operations earlier this month, has outlined its international expansion plans. The subsidiary of Thai Airways will launch services to Hyderabad from its Bangkok hub, while also connecting Phuket with Singapore.

 

Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Hyderabad

Beginning 16 September 2012, Thai Smile spreads its wings to India with daily service between Bangkok and Hyderabad. Flight TG 761 will take off from Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 2210 hrs, landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 0010 hrs the next day. On the return sector, flight TG 762 departs Hyderabad at 0110 hrs to arrive back in Bangkok at 0615 hrs.

 

Phuket – Singapore

The popular holiday route of Phuket – Singapore will also be added to the growing network from 31 March 2013. Flight TG 791 departs Phuket at 0940 hrs, arriving in Singapore at 1230 hrs before the aircraft returns as flight TG 792 at 1330 hrs, landing at Phuket International Airport at 1415 hrs.

 

Thai Smile Air will operate its 2-class Airbus A320 jet on both routes, offering 30 Smile Plus business and 144 Smile economy class seats. The airline is currently flying between Bangkok and Macau, with domestic flights to Chiang Mai, Krabi, Phuket and Surat Thani set to begin within the next 2 months.
