3 World Cruises From P&O Cruises In 2014

P&O Cruises has unveiled its 2014 cruise offering, which will feature 3 world cruises collectively visiting 81 unique destinations in 41 different countries. Sailing roundtrip from Southampton, Arcadia and Aurora will conduct full circumnavigations while Adonia will explore Asia with a port-rich itinerary.

At 92 nights, Arcadia’s cruise is shorter than many other full world circumnavigations while featuring the main highlight ports. Departing Southampton on 10 January 2014, she sails west via the Caribbean to the USA, before crossing the Pacific Ocean to Australia via the French Polynesia islands. The ship then heads for Asia, exploring Indonesia, India, the Middle East and traversing the Mediterranean Sea back to the UK.

Passengers onboard Arcadia’s world cruise will be able to experience her enhanced offerings. Fresh from a 17-night refurbishment, the adult-focused ship will boast 10 new single cabins, a renovated The Globe show lounge and Palladium theatre, with new soft furnishings and carpeting throughout.

The family-friendly Aurora will spend 109 nights on her world cruise, with an emphasis on Asia and Africa. She will leave Southampton on 4 January 2014, sailing west via the Caribbean and San Francisco before setting course for the Hawaiian islands and New Zealand. Crossing the Tasman Sea, Aurora visits Australia before heading to India and South Africa.

The smallest ship in the fleet, Adonia can travel to lesser visited ports. Her 112-cruise exploring Asia in-depth features 5 of the 7 new ports for 2014, including the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Fujairah, Hoi An, Kuching, Puerto Princesa and Yangon. Exclusively for adults, Adonia sails east from Southampton on 7 January 2014 to Asia via the Mediterranean and Middle East, visiting highlight ports including Hiroshima, Hong Kong, Langkawi, Malacca, Manila, Mumbai, Petra and Sihanoukville while extended port calls in Dubai, Port Said and Safaga allow for detailed explorations.

In addition to the 3 world cruises, there are 16 voyages to and from Australia and New Zealand on Aurora and Arcadia available.
