Philippine Airlines To Drop Las Vegas For Toronto

Philippine Airlines, the oldest airline in Southeast Asia, has announced adjustments to its North American operations. The Manila-based carrier will launch services to Toronto and terminate its flights to Las Vegas.

 

Beginning 30 November 2012, Philippine Airlines will begin a 3 times weekly triangular routing to Toronto and Vancouver. Flight PR 118 will depart Manila at 1355 hrs every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Toronto at 1600 hrs. The return flight, PR 119, takes off from Lester B. Pearson International Airport at 1935 hrs and lands at Vancouver International Airport at 2130 hrs for a 2-hour stopover, continuing at 2330 hrs back to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where it lands at 0545 hrs 2 days later.

 

The airline will operate its 4 times weekly Manila – Vancouver – Las Vegas service until 15 January 2013. Thereafter, overall Vancouver service will remain at 4 times weekly eastbound (from Asia) and 7 times weekly westbound (to Asia), operated using its 2-class Boeing 777-300ER flagship.
