Pan Pacific Singapore Reopens After Remodeling

The Pan Pacific Singapore has reopened with a refreshed look, upgraded technology and expanded facilities. The Singapore icon, located in the Marina Bay district, closed to undergo a USD 65 million renovation earlier this year as part of efforts to refresh the brand and now boasts a revitalized lobby doing away with the traditional front desk in favour of mobile iPad check-ins.

The guestrooms and suites have been modernized with contemporary design, uplifting colours and high-quality finishes. A state-of-the-art, smart energy system uses motion sensitive technology to control the air conditioning, creating a soothing environment in which guests can enjoy souldful rest on the luxurious King-sized or twin beds. The bathroom boasts a unique 3-shower feature including an in-built rainforest shower from Hansgrohe, while a 32-inch LCD television, complimentary internet, a thoroughly appointed workspace with ergonomic Herman Miller desk chair and internet protocol telephone present a comfortable space for work or relaxation. Guests staying in the Pacific Club rooms and suites enjoy access to and personalized guest services at the hotel’s stunning Pacific Club looking out across the Marina Bay and City Hall districts from the top floor.

An array of dining outlets comprising new concepts and old favorites present world-class dining experiences. New to guests and locals is Edge, a theatrical and interactive dining space with 7 open kitchens showcasing Asian and Pacific cuisines, while regular favorites Keyaki and Hai Tien Lo return to offer Japanese and Cantonese fine dining, the latter at a new location on level 3. Poolside is an urban lifestyle culinary concept adjacent to the swimming pool, fitness centre and spa where guests can enjoy healthy salads, sandwiches or tapas with draft beer or cocktails. At the heart of the lobby is the Atrium Lounge, featuring a dramatic 22-meter long bar and individual seating pods floating over a reflection pool.

With 27 meeting rooms spread over 2,970 square meters of space, the Pan Pacific Singapore offers a superlative range of conferencing and banqueting facilities, including the Pacific and Ocean Ballrooms that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. Recreation is provided by the urban sanctuary of the St. Gregory spa with its signature rituals and traditional therapies, with the large outdoor swimming pool one of a few in Singapore to offer underwater acoustics. Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre and 2 tennis courts.

Pan Pacific Singapore’s reopening returns the group’s flagship hotel. The brand now boasts 19 hotels, resorts and serviced residences across the Pacific Rim, while sister brand Parkroyal is on an expansion phase with new properties under development in China and Singapore.
