IHG Opens New Hotels In Hong Kong

InterContinental Hotels Group has bolstered its portfolio in Hong Kong with the opening of 2 new hotels in the Special Administrative Region. The Denham-based hospitality giant welcomed the 300-room Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East and adjoining 359-room Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East, situated in the rapidly developing Tseung Kwan O district with easy access to the rest of Hong Kong via the extensive MTR subway network.

 

Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East

Welcoming its first guests today, the Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East presents the brand’s modern, fuss-free accommodations. Each guestroom is cleanly designed and furnished with the signature Holiday Inn bed, ensure bathroom with massaging shower, LCD television, iPod docking station, complimentary high-speed internet access, workdesk with ergonomic chair, in-room safe, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities.

 

Guests will appreciate the brand’s complimentary Smart Start breakfast featuring eight choices. For lunch and dinner, dining options include JIN Cuisine, a contemporary restaurant designed to be a place of calm and serenity and offering Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine highlighted by delicate dim sum and traditional delicacies. Housing one of the largest ballrooms in Hong Kong, the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East soft-opened last month and has been designed to serve the city’s dynamic MICE market. The well-appointed guestrooms and suites offer panoramic city views and feature spacious, effective workspaces together with high-quality amenities. Guests staying in the hotel’s club rooms on the 40th to 45th floors enjoy additional space, complimentary internet and lounge access.

 

3 restaurants offer venues for casual business lunches and elaborate dinners.
