Crystal Cruises, Silversea Offer Shorter Voyages

Luxury cruise lines Crystal Cruises and Silversea Cruises have announced a series of new short cruise options, in response to growing demand for such itineraries. The former is introducing 26 voyages ranging from 5- to 8-days throughout Europe from April to November 2013, while Silversea Cruises will offer 8 sailings of between 4- to 7-days this year.

Dubbed ‘Getaways’, Crystal Cruises is offering 12 Mediterranean, 10 Baltic and 4 Western Europe sailings in addition to similar short cruises already offered in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North America. The new European options will take place between April and November 2013, visiting destinations in Eastern Europe, French and Italian Rivieras, French wine country, Germany, the Greek islands, the Iberian peninsula, North Cape, Scandinavia and the UK. These feature 1 or more local overnights, as well as time to enjoy the facilities onboard Crystal Serenity or Crystal Symphony.

Silversea Cruises

The offering from Silversea Cruises onboard Silver Cloud, Silver Spirit and Silver Wind takes cruisers to the Mediterranean and Scandinavia.
