Now Open: Nobu Hotel Las Vegas

Las Vegas’ iconic Caesars Palace welcomed the world’s first Nobu Hotel yesterday with a colourful ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Japanese taiko drums and models in paper dresses folded into traditional origami designs. Project partners chef Nobu Matsuhisa, award-winning actor Robert De Niro and Hollywood film producer Meir Tepir added a touch of celebrity glamour to the event.


Prolific architect David Rockwell led the overall interior design for the new hotel, housed in the former Centurion Tower. 181 guestrooms and suites have been modeled to offer comfortable simplicity with natural materials and textures, fusing Japanese and Asian traditions with Western accompaniments. Entering the space, guests are immediately drawn to the feature wall showcasing a custom ‘shodo’ style calligraphy before relaxing in the Italian sheets on the King-sized bed or a refreshing bath accompanied by Natural Bisse bath products in the Japanese-inspired bathroom. State-of-the-art in-room technology is paired with an extensive minibar selection including Japanese beer and Nobu’s signature chilled sake and Genmai-cha (brown rice green tea) for the convenience of guests.


With a celebrity chef at its helm, Nobu Hotel Las Vegas is home to the newest outpost of chef Matsuhisa’s culinary empire. The Nobu Restaurant & Lounge will offer several teppanyaki tables, a sushi bar and private dining area together with a large lounge and bar accommodating more than 300 diners. A specially-created in-room dining menu will also be available exclusively to guests, featuring signature dishes such as “Eggs Matsuhisa” and a selection of bento boxes.


As part of Caesars Palace, guests enjoy access to the full range of conference and leisure facilities at the resort, including the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, Qua Baths & Spa, The Forum Shops, Pure nightclub and the headline performances at The Colosseum.


Nobu Hotel Las Vegas will soon be joined by a sister property in Riyadh. Nobu Hospitality has plans to further expand the brand to Europe and the Middle East, with Bahrain and London earmarked as possible locations for future developments.
