Luxury Collection Adds Vana Belle Koh Samui

Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury Collection has added the Vana Belle Koh Samui to its growing portfolio in Asia. Located on a serene bay fringed by lush vegetation and the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand, the 80-key property joins Bangkok’s Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and The Naka Island in Phuket as the brand’s third Thai hotel.

The suites and villas feature architecture and design that reflect the rich indigenous culture and heritage, with views of tropical gardens or the pristine waters. Hardwood flooring lend the feel of a resort home, further accentuated by the luxury bedding, balcony and private plunge pool. A flatscreen television, iPod docking station and complimentary internet lets guests remain connected to the rest of the world from their private sanctuary, whilst enjoying the convenience of a full refreshment center and butler service.

Kiree, Vana Belle Koh Samui’s signature restaurant, provides mouthwatering Southern Thai dishes in a contemporary setting with picturesque ocean views. International favorites can be had at Panali, the poolside restaurant that offers fresh seafood for barbecue each day, while the intimate Lobby Lounge overlooks a grove of palm trees where guests can relax over a sundowner or whiskey from the extensive beverage menu.

Recreational facilities include a stunning outdoor swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center, with direct beachfront access for guests to head into the waters of the Gulf of Thailand. The Vana Spa offers an array of revitalizing massages, treatments and yoga classes, while the intimate Library appeals to the intellectual side of guests with its cozy decor and quiet appeal. The resort’s concierge, a hallmark of The Luxury Collection brand, will also be able to arrange for bespoke excursions and activities.

An ensemble of hotels and resorts providing unique and authentic experiences, The Luxury Collection boasts a presence in over 30 countries around the world. Plans are underway to debut in more exotic locales, with Dalian’s The Castle Hotel, Cuzco’s Palacio del Inka and Ajman Saray in the UAE set to join the brand.
