Tune Hotels Opens Fifth Hotel In The Philippines

Malaysian budget hotel operator Tune Hotels has continued its expansion in the Philippines with the launch of its fifth property in the country. Located in Cagayan De Oro on the southern island of Mindanao, Tune Hotels Cagayan De Oro is close to the city’s Macabalan Passenger Terminal and a easy drive to Laguindingan Airport.

The 159-room hotel offers Tune Hotels’ proven room-only concept of comfortable bedding, power showers and security, with a ceiling fan for comfort in the tropical climate. Extras such as air-conditioning, television programming, Wi-Fi and bath amenities available for an additional charge.

An onsite restaurant offers dining options, while the nearby Limketkai Center and Centrio Mall provide greater options for guests. Unique to the brand is a function room that can accommodate up to 30 guests.

The budget hotel chain entered the Philippines in February 2012 and has since established a presence with 3 hotels in Manila and 1 property in Cebu. Following the Cagayan De Oro launch, new Tune Hotels are expected to launch in Quezon City, Ortigas and Davao within the next 2 years.
