Mariner Of The Seas And Voyager Of The Seas To Continue Cruising Asia In 2014

Royal Caribbean International has announced that the Mariner of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas will continue to cruise in Asia next summer, sailing from Beijing (Tianjin), Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. The 138,000-GRT ships are the largest to be based in Asia and are part of the line’s push towards the region as cruising grows in popularity.

 

Mariner of the Seas

Returning to homeport in Shanghai from Singapore after the winter, Mariner of the Seas will sail roundtrip cruises to South Korea from March through November 2014. Operating 3- to 6-night itineraries, she will call at Incheon, Busan, Jeju Island or Yeosu. The ship’s summer season will conclude with an 8-night sailing back to Singapore from Shanghai departing 4 November 2014, with ports of call at Xiamen, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City enroute.

 

Voyager of the Seas

Sister ship Voyager of the Seas will start her summer 2014 season with a 10-night itinerary departing Singapore on 10 April 2014 to Tokyo, with visits to Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Keelung and Nagasaki. The ship will then sail a 6-night South Korea and Nagoya roundtrip itinerary from Tokyo, followed by 2 Japan cruises. Repositioning to Keelung with a 4-night sailing, Voyager of the Seas will operate a 7-night roundtrip cruise departing 9 May 2014.

 

From June through September 2014, Voyager of the Seas will be based in Tianjin serving the Chinese capital of Beijing. She will offer 4- to 6-night South Korean sailings, before moving to Hong Kong via Japan and South Korea on 10 September 2014. From Hong Kong, the ship will sail a series of 4-, 5- and 7-night roundtrip cruises to Japan and Taiwan until October 2014.
