IHG Opens Hotel Indigo In Israel

InterContinental Hotels Group has expanded its boutique Hotel Indigo brand to Israel, with the opening of the new Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv Diamond District in the heart of the cosmopolitan Israeli city renowned for its glamour and style. Located within the charming Diamond Exchange District, the hotel enjoys easy access to the city’s finest attractions, including the Moshe Aviv Tower (Israel’s tallest building), the Diamond Tower (housing the world’s largest diamond trading floor) and an enchanting mix of restaurants, bars and entertainment establishments.

Designed to reflect the local neighbourhood, Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv Diamond District’s urban design is an Art Deco interpretation of the diamond. The accommodations and public spaces echo the local area and reveal design features inspired by the precious gem, with murals dedicated to some of the world’s most famous diamonds located throughout the hotel. 91 guestrooms and suites offer premium bedding, spa-inspired bathrooms, satellite television, iPod docking stations and complimentary high-speed internet access amongst other features.

French-Mediterranean cuisine is served at the Blackstone Bistro & Lounge, named after the raw form of the diamond. Using locally-sourced ingredients, the menu is served amidst an atmosphere that changes over the course of the day to match the city’s mood.

After a busy day of exploration and sightseeing, guests can head to the hotel’s Clarity Spa for its rejuvenating treatments, soak up the Middle Eastern sun on the sundeck, or enjoy the skyline views across the Mediterranean Sea from the cool waters of the rooftop glass swimming pool. An onsite Workout Room is fully-equipped with the latest equipment from TechnoGym and available round the clock to guests.

Launched in the USA in 2004, Hotel Indigo offers the individuality of a boutique property with the benefits and reassurance of a branded chain hotel. There are now 11 Hotel Indigo properties in Europe, with 14 more in the pipeline for the next 3 to 5 years.
