Qatar Airways To Launch Flights To Hangzhou

Qatar Airways has announced plans to expand in China, with the launch of flights to Hangzhou next month. Commencing on 20 December 2013, the Oneworld member will fly 4 times a week to the capital of eastern China’s Zhejiang province, direct from Doha.

 

Flight QR 868 will depart the Qatari capital at 0230 hrs (Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday) / 0350 hrs (Friday), getting into Hangzhou at 1540 hrs (Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday) / 1700 hrs (Friday). The return service, QR 869, will depart at 2300 hrs, arriving back into Doha at 0430 hrs the next day.

 

The schedule will allow for connections in both directions to Africa, Europe and North America at its Doha hub, where the airline will be looking to meet demand from business and leisure travellers. Qatar Airways will operate a 2-class Airbus A330-200, configured with 24 Business and 236 Economy Class seats, on the route.
