EVA Air To Launch Kaohsiung – Tokyo (Narita) Service

New Star Alliance member EVA Air will add a new Kaohsiung – Tokyo (Narita) route to its network, taking advantage of the growing popularity of Japan as a holiday destination among Taiwanese travellers. Beginning 11 December 2013, the airline will fly the route daily with its new Airbus A321 jets seating 8 Business and 176 Economy Class passengers.

Flight BR 108 will depart Kaohsiung International Airport at 0700 hrs, arriving in Tokyo at 1125 hrs. The return flight, BR 107, takes off from the Japanese capital at 1225 hrs and lands back in Kaohsiung at 1545 hrs.

EVA Air will join several regional carriers operating the route, including rivals China Airlines and Japan Airlines. The flights will also boost connectivity to southern Taiwan, with EVA Air leveraging on the international and domestic network of partner All Nippon Airways for traffic feed.
