Now Open: Genting World Hotel

Malaysian gaming and hospitality operator Genting has opened a new hotel at its ski resort in China. Genting Hong Kong Chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay and Genting Resort Secret Garden Chairman Datuk Lim Chee Wah commemorated the grand opening of the new Genting World hotel with a ceremony featuring a traditional Swiss music performance.

Situated at the bottom of a ski trail and adjacent to a ski lift station, Genting World is the latest addition to Genting Resort Secret Garden, a world-class ski resort under development by the company in Chongli County, a 3-hour drive from Beijing. The chalet-style hotel offers 30 upscale loft-style suites providing cozy and contemporary accommodation to skiers, with amenities including comfortable bedding, spacious bathroom, fireplace, flatscreen television, high-speed internet access, electronic safe and coffee machine.

Beyond the hotel, guests can utilize the array of facilities at Genting Resort Secret Garden, with a selection of international and Asian dining options, day spa, outdoor Jacuzzis and function rooms. Future developments include a new shopping area and 2 premium 18-hole golf courses.

Genting Resort Secret Garden currently operates 30 ski runs, 3 ski areas and 3 ski lifts with heated seats. Upon completion by the winter of 2018/2019, the development will cover an area of 99 square kilometers featuring 87 ski routes served by 22 ski lifts.
