Hyatt Opens In Changbaishan

Hyatt has opened a new dual-branded hotel complex in northeast China’s scenic Changbaishan, in the heart of the country’s biggest ski resort. Part of the Changbaishan International Resort development, the new Park Hyatt Changbaishan and Hyatt Regency Changbaishan become the company’s first ski resorts to open outside the USA.

Park Hyatt Changbaishan

Featuring 163 guestrooms and suites spread over 10 villas, the Park Hyatt Changbaishan offers the brand’s contemporary luxury with elements of traditional Chinese decor and modern technology. Views of the ski fields and surrounding mountains reveal themselves to guests in the finely crafted accommodations, furnished with luxury bedding, spacious bathroom with oversized bathtub and rainforest shower, LCD television, Wi-Fi and individual espresso coffee machines.

2 restaurants, the Living Room and the Dining Room, serve a selection of international and Chinese cuisines in a residential-style setting. In addition to its selection of prime meats from the Chinese grill menu, the latter offers a hot pot menu throughout the different seasons of the year.

Designed for exclusive meetings and functions, the Events Center comprises a small ballroom, meeting room, boardroom and VIP room, each offering natural daylight and an open kitchen-style breakout area. Leisure guests will find tranquility and rejuvenation at The Spa, where they may unwind over treatments deeply-rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, enjoy a relaxing dip in the whirlpools, warm mineral pool or the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
