Emirates Touches Down In Boston

Emirates has commenced its daily, non-stop service between Dubai and Boston. The airline’s senior executives Tim Clark, Adel Al Redha, Hubert Frach and Hiram Perera joined passengers on the inaugural flight to Boston’s Logan International Airport.

Flight EK237 departs Dubai at 0945 hrs and arrives in Boston at 1515 hrs. The return flight, EK238, takes off from Boston at 2315 hrs to land back in Dubai at 1930 hrs the next day.

The flight timings will allow travellers from Africa, Asia and the Gulf region to connect via Dubai in both directions. A 3-class Boeing 777-200LR will be utilized to operate the flights, offering 8 suites in First Class, 42 Business and 216 Economy Class seats.

Boston becomes Emirates’ eighth US destination and the 142nd on its global network. The airline is poised to further grow its American presence with the launch of services to Chicago in August 2014.
