Royal Caribbean Boosts Australia And South Pacific With Third Ship For 2015/2016

Royal Caribbean International has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific market with plans for the deployment of a third large ship down under. Explorer of the Seas will join the Voyager of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas to homeport in Sydney for the winter 2015/2016 season.

Explorer of the Seas

After spending summer in the Mediterranean, Explorer of the Seas heads to Australia via Singapore, where guests have the opportunity to sail on a 10-night cruise to Perth, departing 3 November 2015, followed by a 16-night southern Australia and New Zealand cruise that arrives to overnight in Sydney on 29 November 2015.

From November 2015 through April 2016, she will primarily sail 11- and 14-night New Zealand cruises, with up to seven ports of call in the South Pacific country. During her inaugural Australian season, the ship will also offer short 3- and 4-night cruises in November 2015, February 2016 and March 2016 for vacationers to sample one of the world’s largest and most innovative cruise ships.

Voyager of the Seas
For her third consecutive winter season in the Southern Hemisphere, Voyager of the Seas will reposition between Singapore and Sydney on 14-night northern Australia itineraries on 22 October 2015 (and 16 April 2016) with the former featuring an overnight in Singapore.

The ship will sail 8- to 12-night South Pacific and Fiji cruises roundtrip from Sydney. She will also operate a 13-night South Pacific and New Zealand cruise on 5 November 2015, calling at Bay of Islands and Auckland in New Zealand, while a 7-night Tasmania cruise on 28 November 2015 will feature an overnight at Hobart and a call in Melbourne.

Radiance of the Seas
Crossing the Pacific Ocean from Canada to Australia via Hawaii, Radiance of the Seas will first sail a 10-night voyage from Vancouver to Honolulu on 11 September 2014, followed by a 18-night sailing to Sydney departing 21 September 2015.

She will offer vacationers a variety of itineraries to the South Pacific and Fiji, New Zealand, and throughout Australia out of Sydney, including 8- to 14-night South Pacific itineraries from December 2015 through January 2016, as well as circumnavigations of the continent in November 2015 and from late-February through March 2016. These combine a 16-night New Zealand and southern Australia sailing from Sydney to Perth, followed by a 16-night northern Australia and Bali cruise back to Sydney.

Before completing her season, Radiance of the Seas also will sail 4- to 7-night Tasmania cruises and a 10-night Queensland cruise. The ship returns to North America on 3 April 2016, retracing her routing to Hawaii and onward to Vancouver.
