Cathay Pacific Confirms Manchester Return

Cathay Pacific has confirmed its return to Manchester later this year when it launches a 4 times weekly, nonstop Hong Kong – Manchester service. The announcement confirms speculation about the airline reinstating service to the British city, where it will be the only operator flying direct to the Special Administrative Region.

From December 8, flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Outbound service CX 357 will depart Hong Kong at 0100 hrs and land in Manchester at 0620 hrs, while the return CX 358 will take off from Manchester International Airport at 1200 hrs and arrive back at Hong Kong International Airport at 0755 hrs the following day.

The route will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER in a 3-class configuration with 40 seats in business class, 32 in premium economy and 268 in economy. Flight timings will also benefit from connection opportunities in Hong Kong to and from other parts of Asia and Greater China, where Cathay Pacific maintains a sizable presence.
