Now Open: Hotel Indigo Paris – Opera

Hotel Indigo, the boutique brand of hospitality giant InterContinental Hotels Group, has made its debut in France with the opening of its first property in the country. Set in the elegant Opera quarter of Paris and encircled by prestigious theaters, music halls and opera houses, the 57-room Hotel Indigo Paris – Opera draws inspiration from the famed Palais Garnier to exude Parisian charm and style.

As with all hotels under the brand, the interior decor reflects the neighbourhood and is focused around the themes of ‘opera’, ‘ballet’ and ‘behind-the-scenes’. Hints of purple, grey and gold throughout the guestrooms and public spaces accentuate French contemporary styling, while modern amenities including luxury bedding and complimentary wireless internet access.

The hotel’s restaurant and wine bar, Tartares, focuses on raw food presented in a modern Parisian way. Expertly-selected wine pairings complement the cuisine from chef Christophe Raoux, created from ingredients including meat, fish, vegetables and fruits.

While there’s no business centre or executive lounge, the hotel’s reception provides business and secretarial services such as printing, copying and facsimile for an extra charge. A compact gymnasium offers a treadmill, exercise bikes and weights-training equipment.

Hotel Indigo Paris – Opera marks a milestone for the brand as the 60th Hotel Indigo hotel globally, 10 years after it debuted in the USA in 2004. Further expansion is in the works for the boutique brand, with projects under development in Asia, Europe and North America.
