Fairmont Arrives In Jakarta

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts announced its arrival in one of Asia’s fastest growing cities with the opening of the new Fairmont Jakarta, in the heart of Indonesia’s capital city. Located in the center of the Senayan Square complex in the Central Business District, the hotel offers unrivalled views of the city skyline and direct access to Sentral Senayan Office Towers, the 18-hole Senayan National Golf Club, Gelora Bung Karno sports arena and the Jakarta Convention Centre.

The stunning modern tower features 380 guestrooms, including the brand’s exclusive ‘hotel within a hotel’ Fairmont Gold category, which provides elegantly appointed accommodations, butler service and exclusive access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge. 108 Sky Suites offer guests the best of suite-style living with the comforts of home, incorporating separate living, dining areas and a kitchenette. All accommodations at the hotel feature plush bedding with elegant Japanese spa-inspired bathrooms and state-of-the-art in-room technology, complete with premium amenities for both business and leisure travelers.

The Fairmont Jakarta’s 5 restaurants and lounges celebrate the culinary culture of Indonesia and beyond, epitomized by contemporary all-day dining venue Spectrum, patisserie Sapori Deli and the sophisticated Peacock Lounge, offering the celebrated Fairmont Afternoon Tea experience. Joining the trio is the aptly-named View Restaurant with panoramic windows framing the Jakarta skyline, specialty cocktail bar K22 and the trendy Mont Bar debuting later in the year.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers 3,500 square meters of flexible function space, including an expansive 1,200-square meter ballroom. Recreational facilities comprise a fully-equipped gymnasium and outdoor swimming pool, while the brand’s signature Willow Stream Spa will open soon.

Fairmont Jakarta joins the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali as the Canadian group’s second property in Indonesia. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts continues to expand globally and in Asia, with the Fairmont Bali scheduled to open next year.
