The Hong Kong-based corporation is adding a further 550,000 square meters to its existing developments in Cotai at the cost of USD 5.5 billion to expand its flagship Galaxy Macau resort and redevelop the former Grand Waldo complex into the Broadway Macau.

3 New Hotels to Add More Than 1,500 Keys

Joining the award-winning portfolio of the Banyan Tree Macau, Hotel Okura Macau and the Galaxy Hotel will be 3 hotel brands making their debut. The complex will welcome the 250-key The Ritz-Carlton Macau, the brand’s first all-suite property, together with the 1,000-room JW Marriott Hotel Macau and the new Broadway Hotel offering 320 well-appointed accommodations targeted at families. The 3 properties add more than 1,500 keys to the resort, taking its combined room count up to nearly 4,000 guestrooms, suites and villas.

Asian Cuisine takes Centerstage

Expanding an already impressive lineup of quality restaurants, bars and lounges, Galaxy Macau will see the arrival of new dining venues and establishments including world-class restaurants Fook Lam Moon and Lai Heen alongside 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA from internationally renowned 3 Michelin-starred chef Umberto Bombana. Broadway at Galaxy Macau will showcase the best of Asian and Macanese cuisine with a wide selection of regional and local brand names. The entire complex will offer over 120 food & beverage outlets.

A Larger Grand Resort Deck

Galaxy Macau’s Grand Resort Deck is set to grow to over 75,000 square meters. The expanded water park space will feature the new Skytop Adventure Rapids, which at 575 meters long takes the title of world’s longest skytop aquatic adventure river ride.
