Now Open: Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened its latest property in Japan – Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa.

 

Located 20 minutes from Naha Airport, the property is Hyatt’s first on the southern Japanese island and promises warm Okinawan hospitality. Like its address at the between the vibrant Kokusai Dori main street and the historical pottery workshops on Tsuboya Yachimun Dori, the decor combines elements of Ryukyu culture (seen in the use of hues of red and blue with local pottery and glassware) with the brand’s modern conveniences and comfort.

 

294 guestrooms, including 9 luxurious Regency Executive Suites, enjoy views of downtown Naha and have been designed for both leisure and business guests. Each features bedding with plush 300-threadcount linen, spacious bathroom with Pharmacopia (Acca Kappa in Regency Club guestrooms and suites) organic bath products, 40-inch flatscreen television with satellite programming, complimentary Wi-Fi, minibar and coffee-/tea-making facilities. A Regency Club Lounge, located on the uppermost 18th floor with its own outdoor terrace, offers guests an exclusive environment to work, relax or socialize.

 

For dining, Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa offers 4 restaurants and bars including Sakurazaka, a relaxed space serving buffet-style breakfast and lunch. Creative Italian and grilled cuisine is available for dinner at MILANO | Grill, where meat and seafood are prepared in the show kitchen and trolleys present appetizers tableside. Pre- and post-dinner drinks at The Bar are complemented by panoramic night views and live piano performances, while The Lounge offers quality coffees, teas, pastries and light snacks.

 

At 82 square meters, The Regency is a well-designed event space on the second floor suited for high-level board meetings, parties and cocktails for up to 50 guests. Equipped with the latest audiovisual capabilities, the space can be partitioned into 2 smaller spaces for intimate gatherings and parties. Recreational facilities at the hotel include a state-of-the-art fitness center with the latest TechnoGym machines and yoga lessons available on-request, as well as a 17-meter outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool.
